Hello, I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself. I’m Debra Davenport, owner and operator of Debbie’s K-9 Grooming. Cats and dogs have been a wonderful part of my life since childhood. Whether it be the family pet or a stray on my doorstep, I’ve always cared for them. I have been grooming pets since 1987. I began my career as a groomer at Four Paws Grooming in Visalia, California. From there, I became a Lindsay Animal Control Officer for Tulare County. Here I learned to go the extra mile, giving abused animals as well as those with behavioral problems the nurturing they both longed for and needed. Seeing the abuse these animals endured soon took its toll on me. I decided to take the knowledge and love I had for them and fulfill my dream of owning my own business. The doors to Debbie’s K-9 Grooming officially opened in 2002. Every pet that enters through our door is given the patience and tender loving care it deserves. They are treated like family. I take great pride in knowing that my customers, both owner and pet, leave here satisfied and happy. On your way out, you too will be sounding like our Governor. “I’ll be back!”.
